John Wilkinson    Family Tree 

 Irene Wilkinson   Sister   Irene   was   born   on   20   October      1950   at   Morpeth.   She   was   educated   at   Morpeth   Girls Grammar   School   and   then   took   a   job   at   HTI   in Willington   Quay.   She   later   moved   to   C A   Parsons in   Wallsend.   Whilst   working   there   she   shared   a   flat   in   Jesmond,   where   she   met   future   husband Colin   Simmons.   He   used   to   visit   Irenes   flatmate   who   also   happened   to   be   his   boss   at   the   time. Colin   was   born   on   10   August   1951   at   Horsforth   in   Yorkshire.   They   married   on   the   4   June   1977 at   St   James   Church   Shilbottle   where   I   took   the   place   of   my   father   and   gave   her   away.      They   had twins   Catherine   and   Ian,   born   at   St   Lukes,   Bradford   on   16   September   1979.   Colin   and   Irene divorced   in   September   1982   but   then   re-married   on   14   October   1987.   So   good   they   did   it   twice! She   went   with   mother   to   Canada   twice,   once   with   Colin.   Like   her   parents,   Catherine   was   also married   twice.   She   married   Stuart   Watkinson   on   18th   Sept   2004   and   had   a   son   Daniel.   They divorced   and   she   re-married   to   Rob   McKay   on   29th   July   2013.   Her   twin   Ian   married   Katherine Alice Dawber on 13th August 2005 and they had three children, Luke, Joseph and Eleanor.
